108 high quality blue amazonite beads from central asia.
Beads of 10mm diameter each
counter-pearls and finishing pearl (guru pearl) in Brazilian carnelian .
Diameter of 12mm each

AMAZONITE:
Amazonite is a variety of microcline, which is a type of potassium feldspar, a silicate mineral belonging to the tectosilicate group. Its chemical composition is generally close to KAlSi3O8, where K represents potassium, Al represents aluminum, and Si represents silicon.

From a crystallographic point of view, amazonite crystallizes in the triclinic system, often forming prismatic or tabular crystals. Its characteristic color varies from turquoise blue to green, due to the presence of small amounts of lead ions Pb2+ and traces of iron Fe3+.

Geologically, amazonite is often found associated with minerals such as quartz, albite feldspar, mica, and other silicate minerals. It is often found in granitic pegmatites or areas of regional metamorphism.

CARNELIAN:
Carnelian is a variety of chalcedony, which is a type of microcrystalline quartz. Chemically, it is composed primarily of silicon dioxide (SiO2) with trace impurities, which gives it its characteristic orange to orange-red color. Carnelian's color is usually due to the presence of iron ions dissolved in the quartz crystal structure.

From a crystallographic point of view, carnelian has a trigonal structure, crystallizing in the rhombohedral system. It is formed mainly in areas of regional metamorphism, often associated with sedimentary or metamorphic rocks.

Carnelian is often used as a gemstone in jewelry and ornament making due to its attractive color and relative hardness. It is also valued for its esoteric and symbolic properties in different cultures around the world.
