This handcrafted celestial eye obsidian mala is composed of:
108 high quality celestial eye obsidian beads from Mexico.
8mm diameter for each pearl

The side beads are made of 925 silver plated with 18k gold and cloisonné using the traditional Chinese technique.
Dimensions of these two pearls: 12mm by 6mm

The central counter-pearl , still traditional and following the same technique, is decorated with agate called "nan hong" (southern red) from Yunnan, Baoshan site.
This counterpearl is also engraved with the “seed syllables” specific to Buddhist mantras.

The finishing bead of this handmade mala in celestial eye obsidian, called Guru bead, follows the same tradition, and a lotus is made on it, recto-verso using the cloisonné method.

A rotating pin in 925 silver and brass is added with on each side a natural turquoise from the Hubei province, and an agate called "nan hong" .

Traditional copper counters on each side,
Dorje and Drilbou specific to Vajrayana Buddhism in 925 silver

Finally we set a Buddha head in celestial eye obsidian in 925 silver .
