Natural Amazonite and Mother-of-Pearl Buddhist Mala – Guhyasamaja Tibetan Ghau – Authentic Hand-Painted Thangka – Vajrayana Buddhist Prayer Necklace for Meditation and Awakening.

This Amazonite Mala was designed and hand-assembled with the same authenticity and respect I bring to every mala creation. It follows in the tradition of authentic Tibetan Buddhist malas, where each bead, metal, and symbol carries a specific intention.

A unique piece, this Amazonite Mala combines gemology, sacred art, and the inner path. Amazonite, a stone of truth and harmony, has been associated for centuries with peace of heart, benevolent communication, and energy balance. Wearing an Amazonite Mala means opening oneself to the sincerity of the Word, to fair expression, and to serenity of mind. Its gentle yet stable vibration invites trust, kindness, and emotional fluidity.

This Amazonite Mala is enhanced by three counter-beads of clam mother-of-pearl, symbols of purity and wisdom. Mother-of-pearl, a mirror of inner worlds, amplifies the aquatic softness of amazonite and harmonizes emotional planes. Together, they form an alchemy of water and light, conducive to meditation and inner peace.

At its center, a Tibetan Ghau contains a hand-painted thangka of Guhyasamaja, a Mahayoga deity in the Nyingmapa tradition. Guhyasamaja — "Secret Union" — symbolizes the fusion of wisdom and method, of emptiness and clarity. This Amazonite Mala then becomes an initiatory talisman, a bridge between the mineral and the mystical, between matter and awakened spirit.

🛕 A Handcrafted Amazonite Mala – Authentic Craftsmanship

This Amazonite Mala was entirely designed and assembled by me, in keeping with a traditional Buddhist artisan tradition inherited from Tibetan malakara masters. This Amazonite Mala is the fruit of meditative work, conscious patience, and deep respect for the sacred symbolism that animates these prayer and protection objects.

As a certified gemologist from the National Gemology Institute (ING, Paris), I personally select each natural amazonite bead, each silver element, and each Buddhist symbol that goes into the composition of this Amazonite Mala. The characteristic green and bluish hues of amazonite are chosen for their purity, homogeneity, and gentle vibration, bringing balance and inner peace.

This handmade Amazonite Mala embodies the essence of traditional Tibetan Buddhist rosaries. It is designed as a spiritual tool in its own right, intended to accompany meditation, mantra recitation, and connection to conscious breath. Unlike industrial creations, each Amazonite Mala is unique, imbued with a clear intention and an energy of compassion, truth, and harmony.

🔮🐉✨ Symbolic Explanations of the Elements Composing this Amazonite Mala

📿 Amazonite Buddhist Mala for meditation, mantra recitation, and Guhyasamaja deity practice, symbol of the father tantras

This Amazonite Mala is a condensed expression of spiritual energy and tantric symbolism. Each element – stone, metal, symbol, and sacred painting – acts in synergy to offer the practitioner a path of harmony, clarity, and inner realization.

1) Amazonite – Stone of truth, harmony, and inner peace – Color of the appeased Word and awakened compassion

Amazonite, a gentle and fluid stone, is associated with sincere communication and peace of heart.
In Buddhism, an amazonite mala symbolizes righteous expression, pure speech, and benevolence.
Its bluish hues evoke the serenity of calm waters and the clarity of a mind free from passions.
Used since antiquity as a protective talisman, it acts on the heart and throat chakras, promoting sincerity, reconciliation, and trust.
Wearing an amazonite mala means embracing the gentleness of truth and transforming troubled emotions into luminous peace.

2) Mother-of-Pearl – Symbol of purity and intuitive wisdom – Mirror of the inner ocean

This amazonite mala is adorned with three clam mother-of-pearl counter-beads, chosen for their silky luster and yin vibration.
Mother-of-pearl represents intuitive knowledge, emotional clarity, and the resonance of subtle worlds.
It amplifies the softness of amazonite and balances its aquatic fluidity.
In the Buddhist tradition, mother-of-pearl is a symbol of purity and offering — it reflects the light of clairvoyant consciousness.
Together, amazonite and mother-of-pearl weave an alliance of water and light, guiding meditation towards serenity and the opening of the heart.

3) The Ghau of Guhyasamaja – Secret Union of Wisdom and Method – Tantric Heart of Mahayoga

Guhyasamaja — literally "The Secret Union" — is one of the major Mahayoga Tantras in the Nyingmapa tradition.
It represents the primordial synthesis of the father tantras, the root of all subsequent Anuttarayoga teachings of the so-called "new" schools.

🔹 In the Nyingma lineage, Guhyasamaja is the very principle of inner union, the coincidence of emptiness and clarity, the fusion of wisdom and method.
It teaches the realization of the luminous nature of mind through the transformation of emotions into pure consciousness.

🔹 Iconographically, it appears in Yab Yum form (Union of male and female principles), embraced by its consort, symbolizing the non-duality of wisdom (prajñā) and compassion (upāya).
Its mandala is considered the model for Mahayoga tantras, an inner cosmos where deities are merely manifestations of awakened consciousness.

Guhyasamaja, the "Assembly of the Secret," represents the inner realization of the mystery of Union, the root of the Great Tantric Yoga, and one of the oldest symbols of Vajrayana spiritual alchemy.

☸️ On the back of this Ghau are depicted the 8 auspicious signs of Buddhism

The conch, umbrella, lotus, fish, wheel, vase, banner, and endless knot. These symbols, called Astamangala, bring prosperity, protection, and blessing to the wearer of this Amazonite Mala.

3) The Dorje and the Bell – Union of method and wisdom

Two traditional counters adorn this Amazonite Mala:

  • one ends with a dorje (vajra) ⚡, symbol of the indestructible strength of the awakened mind.

  • the other ends with a Tibetan bell 🔔, representing transcendent wisdom.

Together, they express the fundamental balance of Vajrayana Buddhism: method (compassion) and wisdom (ultimate knowledge). Each use of this Amazonite Mala becomes a living reminder of this inseparable union.

4) The Guru Bead – The Nine Celestial Palaces

The Guru Bead made of silver and copper in this Amazonite Mala is finely crafted and features the representation of the Nine Celestial Palaces (九宫, Jiǔ Gōng), a cosmological scheme that connects the human being to the forces of the universe. In spiritual tradition and Feng Shui, these nine divisions symbolize directions, temporal cycles, and different dimensions of existence, offering a harmonious framework for understanding the world.

In this Amazonite Mala, this bead embodies the axis around which practice is articulated. Like the Luo Pan of Feng Shui masters, a sacred compass that harmonizes the energies of heaven and earth, the Nine Palaces become a framework of balance where each Amazonite bead acts as an anchor point between microcosm and macrocosm.

This Amazonite Mala acts as an instrument of centering, ordering the practitioner's energy around a living center.

Thus, this Amazonite Mala becomes a true inner map of awakened consciousness:

Each amazonite bead acts as a soothing wave connecting the practitioner to a subtle dimension of existence — peace, clarity, right speech, compassion, inner prosperity, intuitive wisdom, and the joy of an open heart.

The Guru Bead, representing the Nine Celestial Palaces (九宫, Jiǔ Gōng), acts as the unifying center around which these spheres of energy revolve. It reminds us that all experiences — whether material, emotional, or spiritual — emanate from one and the same space: pure consciousness, luminous Emptiness (Śūnyatā), the source of all harmony.

Wearing and practicing with this Amazonite Mala means resonating with this architecture of the inner cosmos.
Each mantra repetition becomes a circular movement within the living mandala of Buddha Guhyasamaja, where duality fades and wisdom and method unite in clarity.

This Amazonite Mala acts as an instrument of centering, a field of energy ordered according to the principles of Mahayoga and cosmological Feng Shui: it aligns breath, thought, and inner light.
It supports meditative practice by opening the heart and speech, promoting the fluid circulation of Qi, and dispelling emotional dissonances.

✨ This element makes this Amazonite Mala a rare talisman — a bridge between Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the tantric wisdom of Mahayoga, and the cosmology of the Nine Palaces.
An object of power and contemplation, bringing guidance, protection, and spiritual elevation, where stone, symbol, and intention unite in a single vibration of truth and light.

5) The Cord of the 5 Meditation Buddhas

Finally, this Amazonite Mala is mounted on a traditional cord woven with the 5 sacred colors: blue, white, red, green, yellow. They represent the 5 Dhyani Buddhas – wisdom, compassion, energy, realization, and balance.

This cord symbolically connects each amazonite bead to universal spiritual qualities, transforming this mala into a complete meditation tool, aligned with the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

🌿 Inner Journey and the Light of Guhyasamaja

This Amazonite Mala is a tool for awakening, a ritual talisman crafted to accompany meditation and inner transformation.
Every amazonite bead breathes peace, every symbol whispers ancient wisdom.

💎 A unique piece, handcrafted in accordance with Tibetan Buddhist traditions, this amazonite mala connects the beauty of the mineral world to the depth of the sacred.

Let its gentle and clear energy soothe your thoughts, harmonize your breath, and guide your practice towards inner light.
