Unique Tibetan Mala - 22 Rudraksha Seeds - Netsuké Mahakala

WHY DOES A MALA HAVE ONLY 22 BEADS? (personal symbolism acquired during my creation)
The number 22 is considered to represent the 22 sacred paths to awakening. Each of these paths symbolizes a specific stage of the spiritual journey.
The 22 beads of the mala each embody one of these sacred paths.
By reciting a mantra or prayer while moving the beads, the practitioner progresses through these spiritual paths, thereby connecting with the different facets of Buddhist wisdom.
The representation of Mahakala's head at the center of the mala symbolizes the guidance and protection of the practitioner throughout these 22 paths. Mahakala, as a protective deity, is seen as a benevolent guide on the path to awakening, offering strength and courage to overcome spiritual challenges.

As Malakara, we make all of our malas ourselves, scrupulously respecting tradition.

As a gemologist graduated from the National Institute of Gemmology in Paris, all our materials are appraised and certified.

This Unique Tibetan Mala is composed of:
22 High Quality 5 Faced Rudraksha Seeds from Indonesia .

Rudraksha seeds, from the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, are sacred beads used in the spiritual and meditative practices of Buddhism and Hinduism. Their surface is marked by facets, called "mukhis", which vary in number and arrangement. Each type of mukhi is associated with specific spiritual energies, offering various benefits during meditation.

These seeds are said to promote inner peace, focus, and spiritual connection. They are often used to create malas, supporting the practice of meditation.

The central pearl represents Mahakala .

This rare pearl adorning this unique and rare Tibetan mala is hand-carved in deer antlers . Traditional work of Japanese netsuke, by an eminently qualified master. The deer antlers are of course harvested when they fall once a year in the spring.
This central pearl is a rare, unique and collectible handcrafted piece.

MAHAKALA

Called the "Great Black", Mahakala is particular to Tibet and is called Mong-po, and was accepted as the tutelary deity of Mongolia in the 17th century under the name of Yeke Gara, under Tibetan influence.
