Tibetan Mala 108 beads, Garuda & 3-Eyed DZI in natural buffalo horn – energetic protection Buddhist mala, authentic handcrafted Vajrayana mala, ritual talisman of power, transformation and Tibetan prayer.

🧿 Tibetan Mala 108 beads – Ritual instrument for activation, protection and diffusion

In creating this Tibetan Mala dedicated to Garuda, I wanted to design a true ritual instrument. This traditional Buddhist rosary is a completely handcrafted creation, conceived as a Tibetan ritual mala, intended to accompany an engaged, profound, and embodied practice. Each element of this Tibetan Mala was precisely selected and then hand-assembled to create an authentic, powerful, coherent, and perfectly structured Tibetan Mala.

This 108-bead Mala functions as a living energetic system: it captures, activates, channels, and diffuses force. This Tibetan mala necklace is part of the authentic Vajrayana mala tradition, while maintaining a strong identity, faithful to the Obsidian Dragons universe.

🔥 A powerful Tibetan Mala combining protection, power and mastery

This protective Tibetan Mala is based on the association of four fundamental forces

🧿 3-eyed DZI — symbol of success, vision and power
🦅 Garuda — protector of the Dharma and destroyer of negative influences
🦌 Zakiram carved from deer antler — protective presence, living, instinctive energy and guardian of the threshold
🌿 noble organic materials — horn, bone, wood, deeply rooted in matter

👉 This Tibetan Mala is both a powerful energetic mala, a protective Buddhist mala, and a Tibetan ritual mala designed for real, conscious, and engaged use.

💎 Technical details and ritual structure of this handcrafted Tibetan Mala

As a certified gemologist from the National Institute of Gemology (ING, Paris), I personally select each material, thus guaranteeing natural materials without any treatment.

This handcrafted Tibetan Mala was entirely created by me, from the selection of materials to the final assembly.

Each element of this Tibetan Mala responds to a precise logic: material, energetic, and ritual.

🔹 Dimensions and presence of this Tibetan Mala

📏 Total length: 43 cm
⚖️ Weight: 119 g

👉 Presence, density, stability.

This 108-bead Tibetan Mala is part of a balanced construction, offering an ideal grip for recitation and a strong visual presence when worn.

🔹 108 translucent natural buffalo horn beads

📐 Dimensions: 10 mm diameter × 5 mm thickness

Natural buffalo horn, undyed, un-reconstituted.

Horn is an organic material composed mainly of keratin, derived from living matter, worked and stabilized.

In this Tibetan Mala, it is distinguished by:

🟤 Its warm translucency
🌍 Its deep anchoring
🪨 Its natural density
🌿 Its direct connection to life

In this buffalo horn mala, the material absorbs, stabilizes, and channels.

👉 It forms the base of the powerful energetic mala, anchoring the whole in reality.

🔹 Central bead – 3-eyed DZI ringed with 925 silver

📐 Dimensions: 16 mm × 20 mm

The 3-eyed Dzi is the energetic axis of this Tibetan Mala.

Traditionally associated with:

🧿 Expanded vision
⚡ Accomplishment
💰 Success and prosperity

The 925 silver setting acts as a conductor:

🔗 Connection between elements
⚡ Energetic transmission
🛡️ Stabilization of the structure

In the Tibetan tradition, the 3-eyed DZI bead is recognized as a particularly powerful and beneficial spiritual talisman. It is traditionally linked to wisdom, intuition, and prosperity. Wearing a necklace adorned with a three-eyed DZI is thus to surround oneself with an ancient symbol of protection, abundance, and inner elevation.

In the spiritual traditions of the Himalayas, each engraved circle on a DZI bead has a specific meaning. On a 3-eyed DZI, these three motifs are interpreted as the expression of fundamental qualities associated with wisdom, prosperity, and inner harmony. This symbolic reading gives this sacred agate, often called "heaven bead", a reputation as a particularly sought-after talisman.

Here is the symbolism traditionally attributed to the three eyes of the DZI:

👁️ 1st eye: intuition, subtle perception and deep understanding of reality

🧠 2nd eye: inner wisdom, knowledge and awakening of consciousness

💰 3rd eye: prosperity, abundance and favorable alignment of life circumstances

The three eyes can also be understood as a representation of the balance between the three planes of existence: the celestial world, the human world and the world of spirits. They thus invite us to maintain harmony between these different dimensions.

In this tradition, the 3-eyed DZI is therefore considered a talisman that promotes both clarity of mind, luck, and abundance. Wearing it is to surround oneself with an energy associated with lucidity, prosperity, and inner balance.

🔹 Ritual counter-beads – Zakiram in deer antler

📐 Dimensions: 23 mm × 11 mm × 10 mm

Artisanally carved from deer antler.

Deer antler is a living material, in permanent regeneration, symbolizing renewal and natural strength.

In this Tibetan Mala, Zakiram embodies:

🦌 Instinctive protection
🔥 Controlled wild energy
🛡️ Guardian of the threshold
💫 Subtle but active presence

These beads structure the mala's energy, marking points of passage.

🔹 Who is Zakiram?

Zakiram is a protective figure from Himalayan spiritual traditions, associated with protection, prosperity, and energetic vigilance.

Often perceived as a guardian of thresholds, she embodies a discreet but active presence, capable of repelling negative influences while supporting favorable dynamics.

In a Tibetan Mala, Zakiram acts as a balancing force:
she watches, stabilizes, and accompanies the practitioner in their commitment.

🔹 Ritual counters – Buffalo bone, Dorje and Bell

🔢 10 discs on each side

Material: natural buffalo bone

In the tradition of the authentic Vajrayana mala, the counters allow for tracking mantra cycles.

Terminations:

⚡ Dorje (Vajra) — method, action, power
🔔 Bell (Ghanta) — wisdom, emptiness, perception

Buffalo bone reminds us of:

🦴 Impermanence
🌑 Raw reality
⚖️ Balance between life and transformation

In this Tibetan Mala, these elements ensure the regulation of energetic flow.

🔹 Definition of Dorje and Tibetan Bell

In Vajrayana Buddhism, the Dorje (Vajra) and the bell (Ghanta) form an inseparable ritual pair, representing the union of the fundamental principles of practice.

⚡ The Dorje (Vajra) symbolizes:
⚡ method
⚡ right action
⚡ indestructible power

🔔 The Tibetan bell (Ghanta) embodies:
🔔 wisdom
🔔 emptiness
🔔 deep knowledge of reality

👉 Together, they represent the essential balance between acting and understanding, between strength and consciousness.

In a Tibetan Mala, their presence reminds us that all practice must unite power and lucidity, to avoid any deviation and to achieve true harmony.

🔹 Ritual tassels – diffusion of energies

Placed under the counters, the multicolored tassels correspond to the five elements and the five wisdoms.

🔴 Fire
🟡 Earth
🟢 Air / action
🔵 Space
⚪ Water / purity

Functions:

🔄 Energy diffusion
⚖️ Balancing
🌈 Vibrational extension

In this Tibetan Mala, they prevent stagnation and ensure circulation.

🔹 Guru bead – Natural buffalo horn

📐 Dimensions: 29 mm × 17 mm × 18 mm

Positioned at the axis of the mala, the Guru bead marks the point of transition between the beginning and the end of the cycle.

In this Tibetan prayer mala, it embodies:

🌍 Anchoring
🐃 Patience
🪨 Stable strength
🌿 Connection to life

👉 It is the convergence point of the Tibetan Mala.

🔹 Intermediate elements – Buffalo bone and copper

Buffalo bone discs associated with copper spacers.

Copper, a conductive metal, symbolizes:

⚡ Circulation
🔆 Transmission
🔗 Connection

In this handcrafted Tibetan Mala, it connects the organic elements and ensures energetic continuity.

🔹 Central pendant – Garuda & 9 celestial palaces

📐 Dimensions: 75 mm × 55 mm

Materials: metal and carved buffalo horn claws

This Buddhist mala dedicated to Garuda revolves around this central piece.

Garuda embodies:

🦅 Solar Power
🔥 Destruction of poisons
⚡ Direct action

On the reverse:

🧿 9 celestial palaces (Jiugong Bagua)
→ cosmic structure
→ harmonization of forces
→ spatial protection

In this protective Tibetan Mala, this pendant acts as a seal.

🔹 Who is Garuda?

Garuda is a major figure in Hindu and Buddhist traditions, a powerful mythical bird, often depicted as a winged being with solar strength and an imposing presence. In Buddhism, he is considered a protector of the Dharma, capable of dispelling negative influences and neutralizing harmful energies, particularly those associated with nagas (invisible or disruptive forces). A symbol of speed, clarity, and mastery over obstacles, Garuda embodies a direct, sharp, and liberating energy. In a Tibetan Mala, his presence acts as an active protective force, constant vigilance, and an affirmation of controlled power.

👉 About the Jiugong Bagua

The Jiugong Bagua (九宫八卦) is a symbolic structure derived from Taoism and Feng Shui, representing the organization of cosmic forces through the eight trigrams of the Bagua arranged around a center formed by the nine palaces. This configuration reflects a dynamic reading of space, time, and energetic interactions.

Each palace corresponds to a specific direction, element, and influence, forming a grid of balance used to harmonize energy flows and understand natural cycles.

In this Tibetan Mala, the presence of the Jiugong Bagua on the back of the pendant acts as a schema of protection and order:

👉 It is not a simple motif, but a symbolic tool of regulation, linking the mala to a broader vision of harmony between man, nature, and invisible forces.

🔹 Traditional mounting

This Tibetan Mala is strung on a traditional Buddhist cord in the colors of the Five Dhyani Buddhas:

⚪ Vairocana — luminous emptiness
🟡 Ratnasambhava — equanimity
🔴 Amitabha — compassion
🟢 Amoghasiddhi — righteous action
🔵 Akshobhya — stability

🔹 Synergy of all elements composing this Tibetan Mala

This Tibetan Mala is the result of a coherent construction where each element interacts with the others according to a precise logic, where everything is connected.

⚡ An energetic architecture in motion

In this Tibetan Mala, each element plays a specific role within a global system:

🧿 The 3-eyed DZI acts as a focal point
🦅 Garuda projects an active protective force
🦌 Zakiram stabilizes and monitors energetic thresholds
🌿 Horn, bone, and wood anchor the whole in matter

👉 Together, they create a dynamic:

perception → action → protection → grounding

🔄 A complete cycle: capture, activate, channel, diffuse

This 108-bead Tibetan Mala functions as a circuit:

🔹 Accumulation
→ horn beads absorb and concentrate energy

🔹 Activation
→ counters, dorje, and bell set it in motion

🔹 Channeling
→ organic materials stabilize and orient

🔹 Diffusion
→ tassels redistribute and balance

👉 This cycle allows the Tibetan Mala to remain vibrant, active, never saturated.

⚖️ Balance between power and mastery

A powerful Tibetan Mala without balance becomes unstable.
Here, each force is compensated:

⚡ DZI's power
🛡️ Garuda's protection
🧠 bell's wisdom
🔥 dorje's action
🌈 tassels' regulation

👉 Result:

➡️ controlled energy
➡️ stable structure
➡️ precise action
